Who we are
Bilingual Roots Educational Services, LLC was founded by Mariadeliz Ralat, a nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP) and bilingual (Spanish/English) evaluator.
Born and raised in Lancaster, PA to Puerto Rican parents, Mariadeliz is a native Spanish speaker who brings cultural understanding and linguistic expertise to every evaluation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in School Psychology from Millersville University. With over seven years of experience—including five years as a school-based school psychologist and two years as an independent contractor—Mariadeliz has worked across rural, suburban, and urban school settings.
She believes that language is not a barrier to learning, but a foundation to build from. Through Bilingual Roots, her mission is to support schools in delivering equitable, culturally responsive evaluations that honor each student’s background and potential.
